	caramel is probably the first lebanese movie i’ve seen all my life.
	apart from the news about war, i rarely know anything about lebanon.
	the movie is about 4 girls, working in beauty salon, each with their own problem in life.

	nadine labaki, one of the girl in the movie, is the director of the movie
	caramel is lebanese’s oscar submission in 2008 (indonesia submitted denias).
	i didn’t know that lebanon was under french, so the use many french words in their arabic conversation
	caramel is the ingredient used for waxing, but the waxing method here is a bit different than the one that i know, they don’t used any fabric to pull the caramel from the skin.
	when i typed this post, i kept writing libya instead of lebanon

after the success of paris, je t’aime, new york, i love you will be released (or already released?) this year.

one of the thing i love best about new york, everyone came from somewhere else.

there will be shanghai, i love you (not shanghai wo ai ni?) next year.

reading more and more books from alexander mccall smith makes me familiar with botswana, the country that i used to rarely hear about:

	it’s a landlock country in the south of africa
	the world’s third richest diamond-bearing formations found here
	the capital is gaborone
	70% of the land is covered by kalahari dessert
	it was a british protectorate

in the video jason mraz is in prague, czech republic.
i don’t know where colbie caillat is. it’s somewhere on the beach with granite stones. maybe in the seychelles or belitung.
