we saw the christmas tree which is claimed to be the tallest in indonesia.it’s in central park, a new shopping mall in grogol area. but even the name is central park, i don’t see any park anywhere nearby.
when i was there, the ‘tree’ didn’t feel that tall. maybe because it’s surrounded by skyscrapers. |
and we had dinner too, in red bean.
the wedding venue was in gudang gambar. i instantly fell in love with the place when i visited it for the first time. i avoided big wedding in gedung because they’re too formal and i just want to invite families and closed friends
.
i didn’t know before, preparing a wedding is a stressful experience. thank god, i got helps from family and wedding organizer. the wedding was going well, people love the food, the place, the music and i was glad they had good time there. some people stayed from the beginning until the end of the wedding, enjoying the atmosphere of it.
surprisingly, many people confessed that they love our wedding songs. they even asked the copy of the songs. they’re the beatles, frank sinatra, lisa ono, etc, selected by my hubby. the main song is ’till there was you’ by the beatles.
a lot of things happening in my life lately. i got married and now i’m spending my honeymoon in manado.
the wedding was small and simple like i’ve always wanted. it was an outdoor wedding at night with candles everywhere. i knew it’s risky to have an outdoor wedding during rainy season like now. but we were lucky since it wasn’t raining on that day (ok, it was raining a little).
i’ll update more later.
| on idul adha day last year, i was in vietnam. this year i stayed at home with my family. i cooked the killer capcay. this is the second time i made the capcay. the first time was successfully delicious, so i had confindence to present it |
![]() |
but this time the capcay was just ok. not as yummy as my first attempt. but since there was no other food, they ate it anyway…
recipe of the capcay is from here.
| remember the colorful batik cirebon i got? i turned them into a dress and a skirt. i still don’t know what to do with the dark blue one. i was going to make a skirt, but i don’t want to look like a middle school student.

my sunflower gardening project is totally failed |

i broke my 2 years-old sandals. i remembered i bought them in 2007 in singapore, on my way back from cambodia. since then, they were always a good friend for me especially during the weekend.
but today, in the hospital, walking from the building to my car, all of sudden the sandals were broken
. i was going to buy a pair of flip flop but it was raining cats and dogs so i just walked weirdly to my car.
lesson of the day: keep a back up sandals in the car.
positive side: have an excuse to buy a new pair of sandals
|
|
i’m trying to import the missing posts little by little. too bad i didn’t back up the september posts, so they’re missing. |
|
|
still reading the lost symbol. i was going to buy the book in singapore but only the hardcover version was avaiable. i’m not too crazy about hardcover books. too heavy to carry around and can’t fit in my bag. |
|
|
the new seasons of most serials are starting again. yay! |
|
|
even there’s no obligation wearing batik in my office, i participate the batik day today. |
|
|
finished reading negeri 5 menara during the lebaran holiday. |
|
|
i have the ingredient for magnolia’s banana pudding, but still too lazy to make it. |
i got bored with lunches i got from around the office, so starting from a
few weeks ago, i decided to bring my own lunch from home. this is not
everyday thing, just depends on my mood. once a week is good enough.

in daiso, vivo city singapore, i found my lunch bags. i bought the yellow one
first, then a few weeks later, i met the dark grey one. and they’re
only S$2 each only!
anyone else here bring your own lunch to the office?
