j.d. salinger passed away. the catcher in the rye is one of the book that i read again and again. i remember i read it the first time when i was in high school. the book was part of english literature class.

What really knocks me out is a book that, when you’re all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn’t happen much, though.

   Saya tau buku ini karena desaa-desus agak horror seputar buku ini. Yang katanya Mark Chapman abis baca buku ini lah sebelum mutusin untuk membunuh John Lennon, terus yang katanya Kurt Cobain juga keliatan ngebawa-bawa buku ini beberapa hari sebelum dia bunh diri lah. Agak horror tp penasaran juga seberapa depressingnya kah buku ini? hehe. Saya belum sempet baca tapi sejak Sallinger meninggal jadi agak merasa punya kewajiban buat coba baca. I’m going to look after it and put it on my waiting list!
